Talking Ff8!!!!!

Right now this game is really p*ssin me off! After I have become a SeeD and I go on my first mission on the train from Dollet. Just as Zell and Selphine go and look outside I follow and the game just seems to not respond. It goes black but never comes back on. I also noticed that when I try and bring my menu at that point the same thing happens. Everything seems to be running smoothly with the emulator...I just don't know! Maybe it's my game but there are no scratches on the C.D. Plaese help a man down on his luck!!!! :help:

An iso is en exact 1:1 image from an original CD (suposedly). You can make one with CloneCD, Alcohol 120%, and some other programs. There are lots of programs that can make isos, but you would need one that extracts subchannel data (as the ones stated before) in order for some games to work (specially the final fantasy saga in their pal version). Isos are stored in your hard disk and take differents sizes depending on the game, but the maximum size is about 750-800 MB. When done, you should use 'Run Iso' from file menu on ePSXe and browse to where your iso is stored on your HDD. Give it a try and post your experience. Also, you could try changing the compatibility settings. I don't think highest settings ALWAYS mean highest compatibility...

What I-Chan said is right. Doen't mean that the nicest/highest setting result on the best compability/performance. You can try the setting in Lord Kane's website to find that suitable one : http://www.ngemu.com/kane/

If you gonna make ISO, use this guide : http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthre...ght=psx+backup
