FF8 sound
I dunno if any1 can help but i'm playin FF8 and whenever the fmv comes on the sound starts gettin choppy and doesn't run smoothly
 So i want to know what i shud do wiv my sound plugin...Also is there by any chance an x-plorer cheat cartridge emulator for ePSXe? Or can i jus use the pec cheat device?**Jam440** |

Disable the SPU IRQ hack (this is the lowest checkbox in the main sound configs window).
As for your cheat question, I don't know much about cheating with ePSXe, because I don't do it...

First off, besides the SPU IRQ hack that F-3582 mentioned, use either Eternal's SPU v1.30, or P.E.Op.S SPU plugin v1.6 ( I personally use Eternal's, but i've used P.E.Op.S quite a bit, and there both good
 ).As for cheats, you can either use PEC, or the Xplorer CD (Cause i've done that as well  , it will ask to make a memory card for you).ready2rumbelX

just use pec, its easy enough to use.
and if you use eternal sound plug in, theres a special fix for the FF8's sound.

Eternal is the best sound plugin currently so better use it...
and why need cheats? you should play the game fair and square, esp. when its a RPG...
