all formula 1 games

firstly with formula one 2000, when the intro movie plays the program crashes with these command lines

closing core spu ...
closing gpu ...
shutdown gpu ...
opcode 3f UNK (PC 0002c420) (669,103)

i am using Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.56 on a PCI geforce mx 400 card
on a 500mhz AMD K6 2 processor

they're protected; dunno if it can be fixed; enabling subchannel reading or applying a ppf patch might help;
I have formula 1 arcade; and that game won't work at all (there arent patches for it and subchannel reading doesnt fix it)

a patch you can apply to bypass copy protections; those are sometimes needed when playing a psx game on an emulator (regardless if your're using an original cd or a backup).
there are some patches like this on ngemu; unfortunately not for any formula 1 game. There are more sites with ppf patches; however I cant give the URL of the most famous one since it contains a lot of illegal material. My suggestion is you search on ppf patches in google; I'm fairly certain there are patches for f1 2000 available.

well, I've FormulaOne 99 (PAL) and F1 2000 (PAL), I found and downloaded some patches (even copy backup protection), but no one worked So I think the only thing to do is to not play them...

Thx, bye

I wonder if ps7 is able to work beyond these protections as well.

no, noone of the 2 works on VGS (I tried all the 2)

Thx, bye

PS on the other hand, IIRC about my tests I tried the original versions of the 2, not the patched one, so maybe the patched work (but I don't think so)
