Soul Blade crashes with hidden characters

Soul Blade seems to crash when u try to play the hidden characters
SOPHITIA!
SOPHITIA!!
and will only play HAN MYONG if you press triangle. Is this a common probblem? It crashes out of epsxe, i tried different settings, have other people noticed this probblem or know a way around it?

well, considering they're hidden characters, and they aren't complete to begin with, crashing shouldn't be a big surprise. i did try the code myself, and it also crashed.

The fact is that the hidden characters are complete and are supposed to be there in the game. If you pass the game with all the weapons then you should have those characters. You do not need a code for them so there must be something up with the emulator. Maybe a fix should be made because everyone with soul blade (who do not use cheats) would have worked very hard for crashing characters.

not those characters. he's talking about the actual dummied out characters that aren't normally accessable in the game.

They are actualy unlockable normally. Sophitia!, Sophitia!!, and Seung Mina's father are all unlockable. They are got by completing weapon master mode with various numbers of weapons.
