Tales of destiny 2 final boss

Hello to everyone!!! I don't know if this is a problem but when i fight nereid (the final boss) and he reaches HP=0 he uses a strong attack that is impossible to survive. I know that i have to use one of the aurora artes but, and here is the prob, even if i press the x,o and square button nothing happens. I tried to press them continuously and also when my hp is blinking but nothing happen. I have to press them togheter or in sequence? what i have to do? Help me please!!

Hold all three buttons after she starts her finishing move. Reid should use a special move of his own to counter her attack.
