Final Fantasy Origins controller problem

I just got the game, and I can't play it. Not because it doesn't run. but because my controller doesn't respond when I get to the select game screen... by the looks of it, not many people have this game here. Oh and someone mentioned something on screen shots for the game in a screen shot section, saying that they have it running. It's from a post that is on the second page... Where are they? I would like to see them. Well thanks to anyone who is able to help me out.

lol, it was that! I can't believe it, I could'ved sworn I had tried that... hmm... well thanks! I wouldn't have figured it out. Oh and why the hell would this game not have analog support. I can understand that they came from the SNES, but it wouldn't have been too hard to add analog support. Meh, I'm a go play now. yay! Thanks!

Question

Um, Final Fantasy Origins is FF1 and FF2. Those two were never on the SNES or the Super Famicom (in Japan). They were only on the 8 bit Famicom (in Japan) and FF1 was on the 8 bit Nintendo here in the USA. 2 was never released here until FF Origins appeared.
As for the screen shots thread, it is in the PSX screen shots section and is entitled FF Origins. Both Zeke_D (screens from ePSXe) and I (screens from PS7) have screen shots in there from these games.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

wow.... FF II wasn't realesed here... I thought that two was the one where you start of as a guy from the army and are going around collecting the crystals killing people. Then you say something about it to your king and as a punishment the king makes you go to a village in the mounitains with a "package". That's the one that I always thought was FF II.... so then what number was that one? and what about the one with the girl that is magi... or somehting like that... hmmm.... been a long time since I played these, I don't remember anymore.

That actually was released as 2 in the US, you're not mistaken. Nintendo or Square (who knows which one) decided not to let the American gamers know that they hadn't brought over games. The other one you remember, with Terra, was released as FF3.

These were released as FF4 and FF6 in Japan.
