PLEASE HELP!!! misadventures of tronne bonne

ok ive had some really weird experiences with this game.
1st if i skip all the tutorials in the beginning the game will freeze after i beat the dude in the training level. if i dont skip those tutorials the game either freezes before i fight that first boss or afterwards...i played it with adripsx and i could get past the boss but when i tried to load my save state the game freezes... if i load my EPSXE save state it fails too. i cant get past this one training part. ive used all of petes plugins and i cant seem to get it to work...im using windows xp. if someone could tell me how to tweak my settings to get this game to work i would appreciate it ALOT. thanks in advance
