ff9 problem

when I start ff9 it shows the first screen (squaresoft) then the screen stays black I use

Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.70

and have a GE force 2

640 x 480 fullscreen 32 bit

textures R8G8B8A8 filtering 4 vram 0(auto)

framerate fps limit on auto from rate

compatabillity 2 1 3 3

please help i run it off a burned copy of the cd and i have a real copy neither work

u never want framebuffer access above 0, FF9 doesn't like FBA and pete's opengl plug-in is faster on GeForces

thanks but still no workie i think i should be using Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.70 but it makes everythin a greenish yellow

then tell me your cd-rom plug-in setting's and have u updated your graphics card driver's

okay right click desktop>properties>Settings>advanced>find the tab named GeForce 2 MX and look and see what version driver's u have here's a pic (it should look close to this, quickly found it on the internet)for an example the last numbers should tell what version u have and then go to www.nvida.com for new drivers

okay what are your cd-rom plug-in settings? is it NTSC or PAL? have u tried using a ISO?

my cd rom is a MITSUMI CR-4804TE the plugin is
ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.

when i try to enter the town the screen goes black and it gives me a error readin cd 25,47,51

Try remaking the ISO from that CD

i have recived that sugjestion but i dont know how someone said to use isobuster buddybut i dont know were to get it or how to use it
