Wild Arms problem
I have problems starting Wild Arms (the first one). After hitting Start on the Title Screen the game freezes when automatically checking the memory card (I donīt have a Wild Arms save yet).
ePSXe 1.5.2 Video Plugin: Peteīs Direct 3D Driver 1.64 Audio Plugin: Eternal SPU 1.30 Any suggestions? |

some questions...:
- which version do u have? NTSC or PAL? - which bios do u use? IIRC, "Wild Arms" has problems w/ the scph1001 (US bios), but u can solve them using the scph7502 (European one), btw, don't ask here for it, make a Google search ![]() And, btw, upgrade your gpu plugins to v1.70... ![]() Thx, bye

*sigh*
I tried the European Bios + the 1.70 GPUs but the problem hasnīt been solved yet. I even formatted my memorycard files (in case they got messed). It still freezes in the "checking memory card" screen right after the title screen. I ripped the game myself (+ Suikoden which happens to work just perfectly, at least until shortly after the loading screen ), maybe the image is corrupted?[edit] I made a new disc image, same as before. Thank you very much for your help.
I tried the latest PEOPS plugin and in worked. Unfortunately the game doesnīt look just as pretty with this plugin, but thatīs not a major problem. I made a quicksave right at the beginning and switched back to Peteīs - I think I should forget about using the regular saves and stick to quicksaves throughout the game. |
