Question FF9 doesn't start

I want to play FF9 from original CD(ger,PAL) but it doesn't start, everytime i try it, i only get a black screen.
need help plz

thx, but now i have an other problem with FF9.
it was running till the end of the first video and than it crashes.
I use the ppf-files for playing....

Edit: now its running but the fight are too slow, they look like slowmotion

G4 polygon cache and Fake sub. bleeding/FSAA but i changed back to FB textures 0 and FB access 4 so the game is working fine, only the fights(+battleswirl) are to slow

Try disabling hires textures.

Set framebuffer access to 0, will be enough.
And since Offscreen Drawing dosn't affect speed in FF9, you can set it to 3 without any slow down fear
Should be fast enough that way, but, just to be sure, post you PC specs please
