FF9 (again) is running way too fast.
I've tried to search for similar topics already here but couldn't find
this particular problem. The problem is, almost everything in the game goes at 2x speed. The inventory-menu seems to be the only place where the game goes at normal speed. Music, Movies, battles, everything else runs faster than normal. One other problem is that when I save to "memorycard", next time I open the game the save game is gone. Do I close the game wrong or what? I use alt-tab and press the x. Help? |

Did you really try searching around? This question has already been answered many times.
Anyway, enter Pete's plugin's configuration (or whatever GPU plugin you're using), and check "Use FPS limit". Then select the desired frame rate right next to it (for normal speed, set 60FPS for NTSC games, or 50FPS for PAL games, or just set it to Auto). About your memory card problem, check if the memory cards files are really there, and when exiting, try to use the ESC button instead of alt-tab.
