What rig do I need to emulate SOTN smootlhly?
Hi everyone, I'm considering buying Castlevania: SOTN for cheap so I can play it on my PC using ePSXe.
Unfortunately, my comp is rather slow, but I still think I should be able to run it rather well, as it's a 2d game. Do you think I'll be able to play SOTN on a PII400 with 196 megs of RAM and a 4 meg ATI video card? Lots of thanks in advance. |

Your CPU and ram are just about what's needed to play most games smoothly, but your videocard may be an issue. You should probably use VGS with it, or a software plugin (VGS will be fastest in all cases though).
