I'm guessing it's a CD reading problem, as there's meant to be an FMV there. Try making an ISO image, as kano suggested.

This same thing happened to me, but I was running from a CD. All I did was swith to Petes CD plugin. SO if you have the original disc, try using that with petes CD plugin to get past that part.
