FF9 Help!

I'm running FF9 as an Iso, and I have it set the same settings as it says on Kanes website, but the battles are very slow and the text has a weird yellow box by it, the cursor during the battle is also very slow and fades as it moves...whats wrong....heres a screen

A lot of people say this withought having actualy read my site. I reckon you don't. Lower the off-screen drawing to 2 or 3 (as it says on my site, 'Setting Off-Screen Drawing above 3, or below 2 can cause visual artefacts'), failing that, enable the appropriate special game fix.

In Pete's GPU plugin, there is a fix that is called the G4 polygon cache,(I think) I also had that problem before but enabling the fix eliminated that strange yellow bar in the battle.
