Question FF9>ISO prob

Hi Folxs!

I have a prob wtih FF9
When i run the game "from CD". There are no problems.
But i make a ISO File (from ORIGINAL!!), beacause it run better. (Battle speed)

But from ISO (with ISObuster, ISOproducer) it will not run!
If i patch the Game (ff9ger,pal) then comes a purple PARADOX-Crack Screen?! And nothing goes on. I press the GamePAd Buttons but nothing.
Whats the prob? I MUST patched the Game, or?

Sorry for my bad english.

I am assuming that your drive will read subchannels (As your original works)
Try ticking the cache subchannels option (if using ePSXe internal CDR Plugin) or create an M3S file with Peops CDR plugin..
This should allow you to run without a crack.
Make sure if using Peops plugin you select to use the m3s when running.

Cheers

how bout making a virtual cd of the game, then it would be much easier to run on your hard disk.

Press F5 then try again. My guess is that you are using an analog pad and have the pad in ePSXe configured for analog. the loader doesn't like that. Press F5 again once you got past it.

Your game is PAL/GER, but what about your patch?

The trainer/ patch part doesn't recognise analog pads, like some other older games like Xenogears and Final Fantasy Tactics.
