ff9 FMV's sound

Everything in the game runs perfectly, except the sound at the fmvs. kinda gets really slow or something, dont know why. there is no porblem with the graphics though, everytime they look great. i have a 1000voices sound card(creative sb), and te pluin i use its eternal spu i think. can anyone help me please? do i need to configure the plugin in a special way(though i put the special ff9 option already)?
