EPSXE Sound problem with any game!

The sound doesn't work properly...it's very choppy during gameplay in Tenchu2, the intro to Syphon Filter 3 no sound/music is to be heard, it's missing..how should i configure the sound settings? i heard from alot of people the sound was perfect right away, not here yet.

Though a different emulator {emurayden} i tried yesterday, the sound was perfect, the music..the sounds..no choppyness.

Please don't mention emurayden as it is a hack of a commercial emulator, and thus, illegal. As for your problems, what are your system specs?

Amd 1ghz
384 ram
geforce 3
Philips Acoustic edge sound card
Windows XP .

Well, someone replied on my Tenchu 2 thread..i changed it like he told me to, so that's my config...still it's too choppy

it's not fluid yet...somethings still wrong..
