FF8 Ive read through nearly every forum, i couldnt find my problem.
First off, after readin all the pages, im surprised and impressed to see the level of help availablle, everyone seems to do thier best in helping, im hopin the situation is the same for me.
Without even posting i got my Legend Of Dragoon problem sorted by just reading previous posts. First off, 1 ghz processor 64 meg GeForce 2 I have tried with both the BIOs's SCPH1001 SCPH7502 And multiple video plugins, nothing seems to have worked. Im running it from .img files, they wont run straight off, and niether if i mount it onto Daemon tools. The actual Problem is when i go to run it, all i get is a blank black screen with nothing, no error messages or anything else, just nothing. I had the same problem with my legend of dragoon, but i dl'd the ppf files and changed the BIOS and it worked. But no such luck with this one, please help, anything would be appreciated. Sirius.

Ive talked to Gamer1 over AIM and his advice never heped either, though it is appreciated.
I mounted it onto dameon tools and that didnt work, and also running it straight from file didnt work either, he believes that it is a bad rip, im beginning to think so aswell, but thing is ive seen it working, however i have no constact with the person who had it also. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. OS: Windows XP Pro

so you have made an image file right? have you tried the CD and still get the same black screen??? here's my suggestion:
some games run well in a lower version of ePSXe so you might want to download some like 1.4 and above and try it... another question: is it only the Legend of Dragoon affected? well you could try reinstalling ePSXe and see the outcome... this is what I can help you out for now...

You are using the PAL version. You may need subchannel reading enabled in PEOPs or the internal CDR plugins, or a PPF patch.
