Thousand Arms freeze

In Thousand Arms,near the beginning where Jyabil is training me how to be a blacksmith,when Jyabil lets me use his hammer to try and forge a weapon,it freezes as Meis is hammering the sword! every time exactly in that spot! i have tried several different Bios,and i have tried setting my video settings all the way down yet it still freezes! what can i do? :confused:

Make sure to use Eternal SPU plugin 1.30, have both "SPU-IRQ" related options checked in the plugin and have "SPU IRQ Hack" unchecked in the main emulator.

If it still crashes, post more details on the plugins you are using and its settings.

If you want to go further in Thousand Arms with ePSXe, you need to use Eternal SPU 1.1 plugin with Sio-irq option enabled and apply the cheat code (for the US version): 10023458 0 or use ePSXe.exe -loadcheat thousand_arms_ntsc.cht. Thanks Calb for the fix and badaro for the cheat file.

AFAIK the cheat file is no longer necessary with ePSXe 1.5.2.
