Chrono Cross Disc Change

Hi I have a problem, Chrono Cross is working very good and proberly. I Finisched CD 1 but I cant change to CD 2! How can I change the discs without freezing the game?

When the game ask you to insert the disc2, just press Esc,
put your CD2, wait a few seconds, then press change disk>CDrom
and it's done!
