Final Fantasy Tactics Slowdown

For some reason this game runs really slow, like whenever it moves on to the next screen and other times it totally random. Heres my specs:

P3 1.2 ghz
384 ram
GeForce 2 400 mx (64mb)
WinXP

Plugin: Pete's D3D Driver 1.1.68
Author: Pete Bernert
GFX card: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400

a) Try using the OpenGL plugin
b) Try turning on Palettized tex windows
c) Set Offscreen drawing to 2 or 3.
d) So that you can view the owrld map, it might be an idea to set Framebuffer access/textures to 0,4
e) Enable Advanced Blending.

I don't know why but the opengl program makes it too slow.

get the latest drivers for your graphics card @ www.nvidia.com
