My computer runs GT2 great except my wheel has a huge dead spot in it. I can turn the wheel from the 10 o'clock position to the 2 o'clock position with no effect in the game. One I get past thoes points the steering input takes place. Any ideas?

Probably because that's the dead zone in the PSX controller config for the game. Joysticks are rarely 100% accurate, so programmers put a dead zone in the middle so that if the stick is loose, you don't lose control. Since a wheel is very different, you might be seeing a dead spot in that area.
Of course, this is all just my speculation. Someone else might have something better, or a workaround. |
