Need Help with FF9

No, nothing related to configuration, the video sound and cd plugins work just fine, and so does my pc, but theres a problem
My cd is scratched, and the opening movie doesnt work, as soon as this girl (Cant remember the name) opens the windows on her castle, it stops working and i get a black screen with some sound.

I need to skip that movie, so i tried the -nomdec command through epsxcuttor, but it didnt work either
I know there was a way to skip this movie, since the firs time i played this game in epsx months ago, i skipped the opening movie too (same problems). All the other FMV work perfectly and are the full versions, my FF9 is the NTSC version.

So unless theres another way to skip that movie besides -nomdec (tried iso too, but it didnt let me cause of the problems on that part, althought the cd isnt that scratched); could anyone help me and upload a savestate, for as soon as the opening movie is over??
if theres a save point as soon as the opening movie ends, or close, that would help too

thanks in advance

I don't know exactly, but maybe www.gamefaqs.com could be a good resource of savegames.

No thanks, i tried there too, but most of the savestates are with eevryone on level 99 after destroying every weapon before the final boss, or on Disc 2 or 3
anyone?

I don't know exactly, if PAL memcards are compatible to the NTSC ones. Maybe I can send you something.

FF9 memcards are unique to the individual version, ie you'll need to get the same language version that you have, ie (Us english, uk english etc....)

Have you tried to use earlier CDr Plugins, like MSCDEX, it can do things that some otherscant, because there is ASPI layer and it sucks, I have tried MSCDEX in some games where PeteCDr or SapuCDr plugins where hang..

By the way if are using PeopsCDr try the read "Sector at once" and not to recover the bad sectors.. turn it off!

If your cd is scratched up, use those DiskDoctor Cd repair kits.. I have one and it restored my psx games to working status..

Here's a save at the first save point. It's File 002. It's US version though.
