Fifa 2k2 sound problem

Does anyone know how to get the sound to work properly in Fifa 2k2. The problem is the announcer will repeat phrases twice in a row throughout the game. For example he'll say "in my years of experience-in my years of experience" and then he'll go on to what he wants to say. I've tried PEOPS, Petes, Internal, and Eternal Spu and all of them have done the same thing. Anyone able to get the sound to work?

Same problem here.

eternal spu gave best result with irq option on. Its still not perfect but better than other sound plugins.
