Problems with sound in FFIX and Castlevania: SotN

FFIX:
In battle, there is a sound that wont stop untill the fight is over. If it is a non-random battle, the sound aint stoping until there is a new kind of background music. (very anoying)

Also, just when geting into random battles, it just gets black for a while, instead of the usual twirl.. but I guess It could be the emulator, Not that it is a big problem thought.

Casltevania:
when turning the computer into tv-out mode, the sound gets really messed up (no major problems with other games)
the sound get laggy and sounds very wierd.

Is there anyway to fix the problems I mentioned above?
