Angry ePSXe not working anymore

My epsxe doesn't work anymore!
Since I Know that this is not the cry for help any potential forum-user is longing for, I tried my best to compile my plugin information.
And before you start telling me I should try another plugin; I TRIED EVERY PLUGIN AVAILABLE!! THE FOLLOWING PLUGINS WORKED PERFECTLY UNTIL I INSTALLED XP, THEREFORE I WILL USE THEM AS A REFERENCE!

Anyway, please help me!!
Bizkit@austromail.at

Command lines that appear after FILE>RUN CDROM
After the last line the screen stays black.

* Running ePSXe emulator version 1.5.2.
* Memory handlers init.
* ePSXe: PSX BIOS loaded [bios\SCPH1001.BIN].
* Init cdrom ... ok
* Cdrom open... ok
* Force NTSC cdrom detected.
* Doing init gpu[0]...
* Gpu open[0]...
* Direct input init ok.
* Init core spu ... ok

This is the configuration I played with under ME (when everything worked fine)

Configuration of the Graphics PlugIn (Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.66)

Plugin: Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.1.66

Misc:
- Scanlines: off
- Line mode: off
- Unfiltered FB: off
- Dithering: off
- Screen smoothing: off

- Game fixes: off [00000000]

Configuration of Pete's ASPI/IOCTL PSX CDR Driver:
Interface: W2K/XP-Ioctl raw reading
Caching mode: faster, reads more sectors at once
Subchannel reading: yes

Eternal SPU Plugin:
Wait for XA Buffer is free
Sound buffer size: 8
special chrono cross fix

BIOS used: SCPH1001.bin / SCPH7502.bin

My PC:
Athlon 1200
128 MB RAM
GeForce 2 MX/AGP/3DNow!
Sound Blaster Live!
WinXP Professional Original Service Pack
Force ASPI 1.7

Another nice fact is that under WinME everthing worked fine, but after the installation of XP, nothing worked. I deleted the whole epsxe folder, cleaned up my registry, downloaded everthing and installed it again. Still no progress.
Sometimes I even get an error when I want to configure something; it says: SUnMapLS_IP_EBP_16 wasn't found in KERNEL32.dll.

Please help me! I want my epsxe back as it was some days ago!!!

a) Delete *tsg*.dll from the plugins directory.
b) Make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. The built in XP drivers are crap to say the least.

It might help if you told us which game you were trying to run.

your trying to use open gl right? well it wouldn't work as open gl doesn't support xp or 2k yet. (last time i checked) but if there is an update, go to opengl.com anyway so you can work w/ the.

for more info go to

http://www.opengl.com

have you tried using the d3d plugins? or even E{i}'s

WinXP doesn't support OpenGL? What a load of crap!

Anyway, I get the feeling that you're trying to run FFIX PAL, in which case you might have to make an ISO and apply a PPF patch to it since it seems that your drive (under XP) doesn't support subchannel reads.

Since you are using the same video card as I am, and since I know it works fine under Windows XP, I'd say what you need to do is download Detonator, because as previously mentioned, the default drivesr are crap. http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=winxp-2k_30.82

Definately download Detonator-40.41 fix and use it. Then install one of the Nvidia Detonator drivers for your card. Don't use Detonator Destroyer as that utility does not work w/WIN XP yet.
OGL works fine w/Pete's plugin, my GF4 TI Card, and WIN XP Pro. I know, I am using all three right now.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Since I bought my GeForce 2 I have been using Pete's OpenGL plugin and it works great. Windows XP is awesome for ePSXe.

Wink

Well, I'm using the latest detonators and the game I want to run is Chrono Cross.
Altough the reason for the screen staying black seems obvious (Graphics Plugin) I wonder why the last command line I get is something like "Spu init...."
since usually this is the last line I get before "Emulation started".
AND I DID reinstall everything again, as I mentioned above...
Anyways, Thanks a lot guys!!!
