FF9 crashes randomly, no overclocked CPU

Hi,

I am using epsxe150 because i still have not quite figured out how to run 152 under XP, but i am using the newest plugins from Pete for graphic (ogl), sound and CDR.
I only own two PSX games, so I don't know, wether any other games have the same problem, but FF9 crashes randomly, wich is quite annoying.
It looked like the "overclocked" bug from the F.A.Q. to me, but I am very sure, my PC is not overclocked.
My second game, R-Type Delta does not cause any problems at all.
Any suggestions ?
My system configuration is:
AMD Athlon Thunderbird 900
512 MB RAM
Windows XP Prof.
Elsa G-Force2 32MB
SB Live Platinum 5.1

Thank you in advance for any help, I might get :-)
