Help Please...
Alright, I'm getting a few strange errors here.
First and foremost, I keep gettin an error that says Thunk Connection failed 16 --> 32 I dunno what that means, but it's odd and keeps popping up. Secondly, whenever I try to play Langrisser, the game will start fine, work fine until I get to the first battle, and then when I end my turn and it goes to the enemy's character, it gives me an error like : (ePSXe has caused an error in (unknown)) Then it tells me if I'm having problems I should shut down my computer. I did that, but to no effect... please help.

Okay, the reason for the frown is because the "Thunk" has been answered too many times already. But, since you are new, I'll help you out. Go into your plugins folder and look for 3 files titled, cdrTsgMSCD.dll, subTsgMSCD16.dll, and subTsgMSCD32.dll When you locate them, delete all of them. Poof, your Thunk problems will vanish. These are the files from an older CD Rom plugin that is not used much any more now-a-days. Not w/the newer CD Rom plugins out.
Your other error is due to a conflict between ePSXe and DXSound. The emulator isn't sure what module this occurs in, so it reports it as "module unknown". The only cures for this are to try a new SPU plugin (Sound Processing Unit), update your sound card's drivers to the very latest (and I MEAN the VERY LATEST) version, or to reinstall DX. Also if you are not using DX 8.1, you should try upgrading to that. I had this problem some time ago and this is what I did. Best of luck. sincerely, sx/amiga |
