linux epsxe (sound) problem
hi whenever i enable adpcm sound (which i think enables all sound), i get
* Init spu[0][libspuPeteOSS.so.1.0.15] * Open spu[0] Segmentation fault The emulator works fine without sound, but i remember on previous machines of mine, the sound worked just fine without crashing. the only differences now are: *2.4.19 kernel (mandrake 9.0) *sound blaster live (alsa emu10k1 module) *and version 1.5.2 of epsxe (tried vers 1.5.1 and 1.5.0) any help or suggestions to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. thanks! |

same here
I'm getting the same thing. used the same plugins under mandrake 8.2 and they worked, but it segfaults now. must be a weird plugin/epsxe/mandrake thing... anyone having this happen after a mandrake update to 9.0? I can get it to work the null sound driver, but the OSS one dies immediately.
