Castlevania problem in Library

When I'm in the library in Castlevania: SOTN, there is no text on any of the menus. I can still move the cursor and buy items, but I can't see what I'm selecting. Everything else appears to be working fine. Anyone have any ideas?

What are your plug-in settings?

Thanks, but I actually fixed the problem after fiddling around with the video settings.
