Help! I have been having a probelm for a while with FF8. It starts early in the game, Places that have tansitions from place to place.. It looks like FMV in the background and you characters are drawn on top. Don't work, I just get a black or grey field where the video should be. I posted an example. I have been reading these boards for a while and have not seen anyone else with my problem. I was hoping that it would be fixed in a plugin up date or something like that but Seeing how other people are placing the game on this board I don't think It is a bug.
My computer is a athalon 750 with 512mb ram and a geforce 4 card. I have replaced the card, to see if that would solve it. I have used just about every openGL, and software plugin looking for the solution. I'm totally stumped. I have now used epsxe to play through all of my old square games, ff7, ff9, chrono chross, fft. But ff8 just wont work right. Any Ideas? The picture is in the city where you meet Laguna finally, and there are lots of pretty eleveator scenes. This is one of them. |
