Castlevania SOTN

Hello, I am using Windows ME. I have an AMD Athlon 900 and 128 MB RAM so my PC should be able to run this game.

I try running the game but it skips every second. It's like "play halt play halt play halt". How do I fix this? I have this problem with all of my emulators. The weird thing is that I tried it on VGS the day I downloaded that and it worked fine, but then it started not working along with all my other emulators the next day. How do I fix this? I really want to play SOTN...

PS - I also get an error message in ePSXe when I try to configure my plugins, it says "Thunk connecting failed 32 -> 16"

Try running the game from an ISO.

Ok, I downloaded Nero because I heard it could make ISOs. But how do I make an ISO file on my HD from my CD with that program?

I would go for Blindreadd too. Anyway, is Castlevania SOTN as crappy as Castlevania Chronicles?!? I hope not.

Castlevania SOTN is vastly superior to Castlevania Chronicles (I have both).
To get rid of the Thunk message once and for all, simply delete any files associated w/TsgMSCdex. This is an old CD rom plugin that, if it is not set up correctly, gives this error.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

SomeUserGuy, the files that you would be looking for are cdrTsgMSCD.dll, subTsgMSCD16.dll, and subTsgMSCD32.dll Remove all of these files, and your Thunk error should disappear.
jasukan, the same thing applies for you as well. Just remove the files that I have listed here and your Thunk error should be gone.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

You are most welcome SomeUserGuy. TsgMSCdex was a great CD plugin in it's day. But now it has been far surpassed by other CD Plugins and is not needed anymore. Glad that my advice worked for you.
sincerely,

The ISO's dont really help my gameplay that much ( xenogears, chrono cross and vagrant story run the same off CD's and ISO's for me). Does the quality affect the advantages granted by the ISO? and if so how do you boost the quality?

also anyone have an idea where i could purchase SOTN? i heard it was the inspiration to the best gameboy advance game so far, Cricle of the moon and the highly anticipated soon to come Harmoney of Dissonance
