Pb with FF8 and memory card

Hi,

I am using epsxe 1.52 with Pete's Plugin 1.64. I played and finished FF9 successfully and everything has been fine. Now I start playing FF8.

FF8 is working wonderful and I saved my games on the memory card. The day after, I want to continue my game and ... the memory card is empty !!

So I restart from scratch and I make sure to save my games correctly. After a few day, I return to my favorite emulator, I start FF8 and ... the memory card is empty.

What is happening ?

Thanks for your support.

By the way, I am using original CDs (PAL). Maybe it helps.

How do you quit the emu, because aparantly pressing the X in the corner can sometimes wreak havoc on memcards.
You should go to File, Exit.

Hmmm... I always close it with the X. Never had such a problem.

This happened to me too, I think its some sort of shutdown error... The easiest way I can think of to make SURE that it doesnt happen... is to rename/backup the mem card... that way, if it screws up, just switch em back, and you're set!
