FF9 Battles

When I play FF9 the movies and gameplay are ok, but while battling everybody's faces are a little choppy. I was wondering if anybody knew the best settings for FF9. I have petes open gl and a geforce 4 card. Thanks.

That 's because of OpenGL not complete , you can see some PC games use OpenGL such as EASports games take the same problem . My meaning is nothing is perfect .

Hmmm... why do so many games use OpenGL then, if it is soooo buggy?

OpenGL itself isn't buggy. Is developers not bothering ot do it very well
Most EA sports titles are in D3D
The Problem may be the plugin/emu, or it might just be because of the lack of perspective correction and subpixel accuracy

I also prefer OpenGL.
BTW: The area polygons are cut off because of the "camera" is much closer than with d3d (you can see it in some n64 emus when you play conker's bfd)

As for the battle problem, there's a fix in pete's plugins. go to the special fixes area, and enable the 'G4 Polygon Cache' option. That should help out!
