ff7 memory card

I don't know if this is related to this thread but this is the problem I have. I saved my game at the end of the first disc in ff7, and then loaded the second disc. It seems that the second disc can't find my ff7 save on that mem card and the first disc can. Can you please help me on this.

Thanks

Um... did you correctly select your memory cards? and did you exit epsxe with escape, not clicking on the x.

Does this mean that ePSXe only saves correctly, if it is shut down correctly??? We should report this to the authors! Imagine: You have played FinalFantasy for three hours and ePSXe crashes...

I guess we should always back up our memory card just like the epsxe team suggested us. for me it doesn't matter since I have already finished the game.

thanks for your help

The reason for the problem IIRC is taht sometime save states can load a memcard, and you may not want it saving that straight away
