Should I go and buy FF9

I was wondering if this game will work through all 4 discs with ePSXe!

I mean ... will I come along something that would prevent me to go on ... like stuck on certain disc because the ePSXe will crash?

I've borrowed a jap version from my friend and it seems to work ... but I was wondering if it will work the entire game with ePSXe.
Cause I'm going out to get myself a Eng. version of it

Once you get configured correctly, you should have no problems. Although i do suggest playing FF7 or 8 instead...

F-3582, you cannot sway me in my anti-FF9 campaign.

I agree with you, Octopus. I used to think i am a FF follower, but i have realised i am only a FF7 one; from 1 to 6 i don think they are worth (YES, i have played FF6 and NO, i don't like it). FF8 was a bit lame, and FF9 a bit too weird. I haven't played FFX though.

Well, FF4 is my personal favorite, but yeah. Go buy FF9. Play it. Love it. It doesn't have to be your favorite, but it's definately worth buying.

If you don't consider about FF4, FF6, and FF7, and you just only consider about its gameplay and various features, it is a worth buying game.

Kid A,
Just post worthy replies and eventually you can advance to member and so. Just keep in mind, don't post lame post.
Erhh, can you use the edit post button next time? It's a bit of annoying to see triple post. (IMO)

Basically, if you are expecting any type of story at all, do not buy FF9.

Some people maybe like REAL old-school rpg's, even if you don't understand that...

Yeah, but i dont want it looking new-school! And FF9 is like an old-school game impersonating a next-gen game!

Get the game if you love FF series, you'll have a lot of fun. And it works flawlessly on ePSXe afaik.

Decoy_Octopus,
Oh, come on, I know FF9 is not better than FF7, but are you trying to publicize your "AntiFF9lisme" ? Please, geo_h is asking for any problems that maybe will encountered while playing, and that's all. IMO, you hate FF9 but maybe others do not. No offend here.

Stay in topic BTW, you can have your Anti-FF9 campaign over our Game discussion forum. Thanks.

*EDIT: Eh, I am talking to Decoy_Octopus actually.
