I would appresiate any help on this.
The game ID is SCES-00900 I think it belongs to spain, true? It has a NTSC/PAL selector intro. Well the fact is that in CVGS It shows on the battle maps a lot of garbage and hangs. And in ePSXe, after I choose NTSC or PAL (no matter wich I chose), the emu exits with this error code: "ePSXe <error> recompile block too large" I'm Using Video plugin: Pec 2.3 -> Pete's OGL 1.65 Sound Plugin: SPU Core ePSXe 1.5.2. CD Plugin: CDR WNT/W2k Core 1.5.2 Memory Cards created. PAD 1 mapped to keyboard PAD 2 not mapped. Playing on Windows XP. For info on my PC config, look at my profile. In the console window, this is the info shown. * Running ePSXe emulator version 1.5.2. * Memory handlers init. * ePSXe: PSX BIOS Loaded [Bios\SCPH1001.BIN]. * Init Core W2k CDROM ... * First/Last track: 1 1 * Track 1 <DATA> - Start 0: <00,02,00> - Length 70:41 [F] ok * PAL cdrom detected. * Doing init gpu[0]... * Gpu open[1885692720]... * Direct Input init ok... * Init core spu ... ok * Closing core spu ... * Cosing gpu ... * Shutdown gpu ... * ePSXe <error> recompile block too large And that's all.

Don't know if it's a pirated or not.
I received it from a friend as a gift. The plugin config: Video, "NICE" / "FAST" no matter wich I select, it's always the same. Also it has the special FF7 fix. Sound: Default CDROM: Default. Don't think it's corrupted, since it runs on CVGS, but it's full of garbage, that's why I want to try it on ePSXe. If I recall right, before downloading 1.5.2, I had an older one, wich made the same, but the error show, was something about DEMO, I though it was the, so I downloaded the newest and appears the already told error.

Or course it's pirated, no official Square release would have an NTSC/PAL selector. Try playing without Pec and if that's still no good then it's because you have a rubbish copy of FFVII. Go out and buy the real thing.

As mentioned by Badaro and Phoenix Flame. Apparently, you have a pirated version which is not to be supported here, I suggest you to read through our board rules. BTW, getting the original version would be the best solution. This thread is closed now.
