Dance Dance Revolution 4 & 5
I don't know if this is trivial but the music isn't in sync with the game...
Is this problem related to the SPU? or is it just something that is impossible to emulate? To the best of my knowledge, i've never seen any emu that played these games correctly... (DDR, Bust a groove...) If you can help me, thanks in advance! |

I prefer to play DDR games using VGS. The music sync perfectly with the arrows.

I don't know, but maybe the SPUAsync mode in Eternal may help.

Shiori,
What hardware/OS setup are you running VGS on? I've tried playing DDR Konamix on both VGS 1.4 and EmuRayden 2.0, and while the emulation is spot on, there's a noticable lag time from when I press a button and see the screen react. When navigating the menus, the sound is lagging at the same interval as the video, making it appear there's button latency, not redraw or anything like that. I've tried several different controllers and drivers, all with the same results. I tried changing the desktop resolution and bit depth with no results either. There are no funky TSR running in the background. Are you tweaking VGS in a way I'm unware of? Here are my system stats: Athlon 1 GHz CPU 256 MB RAM Win 98 SE GeForce 2 32 MB Sound Blaster Live 1152 x 864 x 32 desktop Thanks for any help you can give. |
