Question Lunar Eternal Blue help needed

I am playing Lunar Eternal Blue with epsxe version 1.5.2 ( which ever is the latest version).
When I go to disk 2, right after the gang gets off the Destiny and is heading onto the dock to talk with Leo, the game crashes. This is right after Lucia says "Ghaleon". The screen goes black and there is alot of squelching type noises. I thought at first this was due to it running in Linux, but when I tried it in Windows 98 it did the same thing. I have tried alot of different combinations in the plugins and the same thing happens. Can anyone offer any help as to why this happens and what combinations of plugins to use to make it work? I am running an AMD 950 with 256 ram.
Thanks
Schmoo

I've played eternal blue with Pete's software gpu and never
ran into any problems. Also I made ISO's of the cds.

What plugins (gpu/cdrom) are you using?

I have come to the conclusion that it is probably a bad file I have, and not the epsxe
Thanks for the response though
