FM3 sound issue w/talking

I just spent all morning trying to figure out my black screen issue. It turned out to be the way I was burning the image. Duh...
I'm so bad at that.

So I got into FM3 with 1.7 using any of the gpu plugins. The opening movie starts and then cuts to text, when the narrator begins to talk, I can hear 1 word of her lines and then the sound cuts off and I can't hear anything. I tried Eternal SPU 1.41, ePSXe SPU core 1.7.0 and PEOpS DSound 1.9, they all have the same problem (but the ePSXe SPU sounds a lot better).

The thing is, I can hear the music just fine, and the sound throughout the movie played perfect. It's just when they talk.

I tried looking through the troubleshooting sticky guide but I didn't see anything that helps me.
Does anyone got some advice?

Um, Guys?
I don't want to sound rude, but a lot of people here have a habit of not saying anything when someone says something stupid and obvious.

So could you not do that, please? It's kinda rude.

Thanks.

you are mistaken, people have a habit of not saying anything when someone makes posts like that. there is a good deal of active members here, myself included, that generously devote a bit of what little free time we do have to help others trouble shoot and we dont get even get paid for it, so unless there is some highly unique quality that you bring to the table you can wait patiently like everyone else does.

What does that have to do with my problem?

I just spent last morning looking through pages and pages of posts for answers I inevitably found on my own, they were so obvious that I thought this problem too was very obvious also.

I do not see how that coincides with me offering you some highly unique quality for your round table. I don't claim to be unappreciative. But on the other hand, I also don't like having to look through post after post of questions of which you do not answer, giving half thought advice when the answer turns out to be something silly and obvious, one I expect someone with as many posts as yours to know, you, specifically, don't reply.

Your sigs are memorable so you stick out in my memory. I'd rather not walk around into fallacy land so if you are going to talk to me with an ugly stick in your hand, then why don't we just cut this short, otherwise we can act like adults and try to figure out a problem.

Is this the part where you start ranting and trying to get me banned?
Whatever.

On second thought, forget it entirely. I'm sorry I asked you.
I don't know what I was expecting honestly.
I won't even bother finishing that thought. None of this is worth it, considering how easily I could predict the future of this conversation.

I must be psychic.
Lock, Ban, Whatever.
Have fun with yourself. ;-)

have you ever considered the possibility that we just do not know a solution to a problem yet? do you expect people to know how to correct a problem with a game they might not even have? you make alot of assumptions and you come off like the blame should be on someone else if those assumptions lead to nowhere. i dont know what your problem is but if you are expecting people to be at your beckon call then you really need a reality check.
