ePSXe 1.6 Problem, help Please?

Hi everyone,

I've been using ePSXe for about 1 year now, and have encountered a problem while setting up the program on my brother's computer that I have, otherwise, not encountered. The program refuses to go any further than the base screen. I've tried using different GPU plug-ins, different sound plug-ins, CD Rom, etc and nothing has solved the problem.

I transfered my winrar files from my computer to his and installed everything and set it up, then fired up the program for the first time after setting up the plugins and all ran well. Then, I closed the program and restarted it. It worked fine again. Then, I tried to activate a net driver for the epsxe to use so that my brother and I could play Armored Core: Master of Arena against one another (ISO was made from the actual disc and made in Alcohol 120%), and the program gets to the point where I click to select an iso file and then nothing happens after that. It just disappears.

I've gone through his settings and tweaked around different things in 3 different GPU plug-ins, as well as sound/CD-R and net plugins and have not found a fix. I've tried deleting and retransfering (basically reinstalling) the program onto his comp, but nothing seems to work. I'm baffled, as the ISO files work just fine on my computer and did work fine, twice, on his comp and suddenly won't do squat now. What's going wrong and what can I do to fix it?

The plug-ins I've used for his comp are as follows:
Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76
Internal ePSXe SPU
P.E.Op.S. CDR Driver 1.4
Kazzuya Gamepad DInput Driver 0.6
Netsock 0.2**

**we're trying to run this on a home network. Already tried to configure the program's port access in the router and with windows firewall and all protection programs on both comps

any further information I'll have to get tomorrow, as his computer is currently unavailable to me.

epsxe win32 doesn't support input plugins anyway.

networking is barely supported on psx emulation as it is.

Try running the game without the netplay plugin, if that doesn't work delete the register of all the plugins and epsxe not just the files.

so to get the (Semi) obvious out of the way, you're talking about doing both of these:

Delete settings:
If you ever need to delete ePSXe's settings go to Start -> Run -> Type: "regedit", find and delete this key:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\epsxe".

If you need to delete the settings of plugins then delete this key:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Vision Thing\PSEmu Pro".

right?

Anything else I should try? Are there newer net plugin versions?
