FF9 Building Crash

Hi,

I've been struggling with emulating FF9 for a while now and finally got it working by PPF-O-Matic-ing the ISO with a PAL patch.

So now it runs, and does so pretty well. Except, most non-essential houses in the game (a few in Alexandria at the start) don't work - Vivi enters them, and then the black screen never lifts to reveal the house. The music keeps playing.

I was content until the first essential part of Alexandria Castle exhibited the same problems and now I can't continue in the game. Anybody know how to fix this? Tried in 1.5.2 and 1.6.0, as well as various other emulators.

Thanks!

.iso, the patcher said works with .bin but it worked fine, the patch includes a trainer and that works okay.
