Metal Gear Solid : Howto switch controllers?

Anyone knows if you can switch controllers in ePSXe? With some plugin or someting?
I'm stuck at the psycho mantis battle, if you play it on the original psx you have to switch controllers so he cant read your mind and i'd like to do the same in epsxe, cauze its very hard when he can read your mind

Sorry I don't know how,,,, but I discovered a way to kick Psycho’s ass without switching controllers, you've just to stay on the ground against him(against the desk just against where he stands for most of time to control room objects),, and watch him playing/controlling those stuff he rejects to you in sequence (bad bug from konami programmers), and that exhausts his mental powers therefore he goes back to that place ,so there is a gap (a small time gap), where he tries to restore his powers, and there you can hit him even three times if you're speedy enough (don't forget to use red radiation or whatever (I don't remember, sorry) to see him), and with that you can beat him, it needs just a lot of time/speed/practice…hehe.

If I remember correctly you can beat that part like this:
Assign the same keys to both controllers and when you get to that part you don't have to do anything special as you will already be playing with 2nd controller.

I played this part in pSX, its easier to switch your pad 1 to none, then pad 2 to usb game pad.
