FF8 and psx emulation cheater

Just recently in FF8 I realized I missed something very important. Laguna's card. So i tried cheating for it, but for some reason, its not working. I tried all other lvl 10 player card cheats, but they don't work either, but every other card cheat does. Does anyone know why, or how to fix it maybe? Or if not, is there a way to find Ellone after going to space, and still getting Laguna's card? Thanks

its been awhile since ive played through the game with the intentions of collecting every card, but if i remember right, i think you can win it from the card queen on disc 4. you can actually get multiple copies of it too but you are limited to only being able to carry one of each rare card type. if you finish the card club side quest or whatever and have them on the airship during disk 4, you can win copies of lost or refined rare cards from them but you must not already have the one you want in your collection, you have to lose it or turn it into whatever item it can produce, once that is done you will see that same card in their decks from time to time.
