FF7 wrong file?

Ok im a noob when it comes to emulators and i need a little help. When i DLed all of the parts of the FF7 game, it was DLed as a .rar file. when i went to run it with the ePSXe emulator it says that it is not an .exe file. so i am asking if there was a patch for this problem or where i can DL the right format of this game. any and all help will be greatly appreciated!
