Need general information

Hi folks just wondering if you can help me with this problem. I've recently aquired epsxe to enjoy my games on the pc but i am having trouble running games at the right speed. I'm currently only trying to run street fighter ex plus alpha but the speed is too slow. Please bear in mind i'm no genius when it comes to computers but i can understand a fair amount. I've used the helpfile and now know that there's no problem with my pc specification and i've tried turning the resolution down to minimum and the graphics accelerator to a low enough level to still utilise the plugins but without success. I know this may seem trivial but it's got me stumped and any help would be of great assistance to me.

post the plugins you are using as well as the specific settings you are using with them.
