Okay, you are getting the black screen after Oak, or after you load up your saved file? Or something else? Which version are you using?

Maybe it is your Pokemon ROM.

SugarSkulls March 16th, 2010 03:03

I get it after I continue. The rom works fine without the codes, apart from the AP.

EderraFan March 16th, 2010 03:06

Try the code when you get the black screen. Turn it on and press ok and run the settings I do (although, my memory settings is probably wrong, never works for me so just follow everything else but the memory). See if that works. Also, what version are you using?

Did you self rip your rom or get it from some place?

SugarSkulls March 16th, 2010 03:15

lol, i tried to get a black screen but it crashed instead. I'm using 2.6a. I got the rom from a friend who ripped it.

EderraFan March 16th, 2010 03:43

Then that's the problem, I think it is your rom. Lemme check my rip. (if I can remember which of the two rips is mine lol)

I'll edit the post when I'm done. Also, this will be my first time uploading something like this.

it suportes save state you just have to know how to do it:)

tangeeogals March 16th, 2010 06:56

Exactly how no$gba supports NDS save states? So far I've read topics like such that even at the current version of no$gba does not support (yet) NDS save states. GBA saves, yes.
So far I've known that DSEMEMU is capable.

It really is impossible to use save states or to even utilize it on NDS games on a no$gba.
It only reverts you back to the opening theme of your game and sometimes result to crashes.

Finally 32 bit COLORED legendary dogs!!!

Lookie who I found. Currently sightseeing in Ecruteak City. Got the game from my progammer friend (THANKS!!!) who spent 2 days fixing the crashes, and SUCCEEDS (about 85%). Still fixing it though but its progressing.

shadowgamerlapy March 16th, 2010 10:21

Did you had any crashes or freezes in game??

tangeeogals March 16th, 2010 10:41

So far none. But on rare occasions I see missing nos. But other than that it's dandy fine. Its still in its experimental stage though. :thumb:

This is for the emulators like no$gba and dsememu. He's still finding ways to fix it for the DS cards.

I meant the save state shortcut key F8. Like the ones you can do with visualboy advance's shift+F1,F2 and so on. Coz even when you press F8 (save in the oldest slot) then press F7 (load the oldest slot) the result will either be it will return you to the game's opening or it's going to crash.

EEL FOR SALE!!! ONLY $1000!!!

Thanks to everyone that put time into trying to correct the faults with this game, I have read through the thread and taken the fix's and applied them as I went. I'm now going to go and try to play this game, hopefully your help has done the trick and I can enjoy this game. Thanks again.

Lex_Light March 16th, 2010 17:38

Something I have noticed straight away, if you use the codes provided by EderraFan then the game freezes when you save. I overcame it by changing the settings of my emulator every 30 seconds or so. It will move slightly when you do that, you will never get past the save screne but after about 4 minutes of waiting you can exit the game and the save will work. I'd advise turning the codes off before you save just to avoid the hassle.
