720p Super Mario Galaxy

Watch it in YouTube HD

squink July 4th, 2009 02:54

Gareth, did you use any special settings for Four Swords on rev 3652?
Link(s) is grey, but all other graphics seem correct? He is also grey in other builds I've tried out. Other than checking dual core mode I'm using default settings.

Any help would be great, thank you!:)

EDIT: Never mind, found the official thread for this game. Sorry about that, I really did search for myself! I usually have no problem finding help, but I guess becasue "link" and "zelda" bring up so many results I just missed it.

Thanks anyway, though!

Hey, rene mauricio, you say in the video that the sound works fully, but for me, sound effects are messed up and the music often stops, specially when starting a new level (it is often cut off by the swoosh sound of Mario/Luigi flying in). :( What rev do you use or what special settings do you use for that?

nosound.97 July 4th, 2009 22:09

Super Mario Galaxy video by me too, enjoy! :D

SupaDK July 4th, 2009 22:27

Damn time to update my videos now that they are fully working with sound , cool video nosound not watching it all cause I dont wanna give it away :) cheers

I'm confused with rene mauricio's review. From what I understand, the DSP emulation still isn't advanced enough to play the music in Mario Galaxy (it will start to play and then totally disappear). Is there a fix or hack for this or was rene mauricio just being a tad TOO optimistic?

Either way, amazing progress this past week, props guys!

ector July 5th, 2009 12:07

It's just mauiricio being too optimistic - the sound in Galaxy is still very glitchy.

Butz_san July 5th, 2009 17:57

Yeah, but the game seems to be running great! I don't have Mario Galaxy but I'm planning to buy it :)

Not all the music plays in Wind Waker, there's no music on the title screen or introduction
