You can open the file in wordpad and clean it up the way you want it

ok i tried it and also got an error, so i think the codes are not there, cause some work and some don't. Should be nice if he could make a standalone app, he does some converting. In the past something similar worked with pecedit by importing the webpage from codebreaker. Unfortunately that doesn't work anymore...

I did Final Fantasy Origins

I saw you wanted some codes.inf for the Final Fantasy 1-5

I was doing Final Fantasy Origins which is FF1 and FF2
Took a while I saved it as a Favorite.inf then change the name to match the game.

Hope this helps with your collection.

If any one done FF3-FF5 let me know so I can take a look

Keep It

If Final Fantasy 3-5 have not been done I will start searching for there game shark codes.

opps ff3 is ff6 on playstation 1

So I think we will need ff4-ff5

Final Fantasy cronicals has ff4 and crono trigger on it
Final Fantasy Anthology has ff5 and ff6

I know a site that has links for these iso downloads but because of the rules I can't post them.

Not sure if this applys if some one private message me and ask for them. =)
I can't download anymore games until I burn some info on to dvds

Sorry vietfatboi don't have the game xenogear

I test all codes I upload to ensure they work I only use usa codes and games so remember that when you use the files.

SnoDawg

If I have some Spare Time I will Look into rearranging the codes for ff9 not making any promisses though my job tires me out. stupid agents.

See my codes as posted on cmgsccc.com by "Prometheus"

User-Submitted codes

To add to codelist follow this format (example code below):

Code:
"Auto/Manual Trans (L2+D up/dn)
D01C97AA FEEF
300A9CF6 0000
D01C97AA FEBF
300A9CF6 0001
.Change your transmission anytime during a race.
Start all code names with a single quote, and add actual addresses afterwards as above. To add a note as seen in the context box in the PEC application, start and end with a period, no matter how many sentences. Now, post a code with multiple digits selectable in the emulator:

Code:
"# of Cars in Test-Run
D01D58B6 0006
801D58B6 00??
$01 1
$02 2
$03 3
$04 4
$05 5
$06 6
.Sets the number of cars in the Test-Run from 1 (you) to what you set. May conflict with the "# of cars in race" code if that code is set to $01.
Double-click the code followed by a question mark in PEC and select your digits. The above will replace ?? with the digits following the $ sign (in hex, be sure they match in number of digits....Don't use ?? for $1 or ? for $01). "$" represents "string", or the bytes to be replaced by the selected number.

If you game is not listed, and you are adding one, the format is as follows:

Code:
#Gran Turismo 2 Version 1.2#SCUS-94455
Using the # sign as a border for the title is what names the game as seen in the code list. "SCUS-94455" is the code as read by PEC or also the code as read on the game packaging binder. Note that I have matched the name of the game as I see fit to it's actual Sony ID, thus allowing PEC to find it easily in the codelist. If you do not know the actual ID, simply use "SLUS-00000" to be read and included on the list of US and Canada games.

I have been trying to get my codes added to new releases of the PEC codelist.inf, so they may be there in the next release. I hope this helps for directly editing the codelist.inf file when opened with Wordpad or similar basic text-editor.

#SCxx-xxxx just allows the check disk button to match the codes to the game, multidisk games can be listed using #SCxx-xxxxx#SCxx-xxxxx#SCxx-xxxxx
for a 3 disk game

As I said, but actually you should treat it as "Sxxx-xxxxx", as you have such as SCUS, SLUS SCES, SLPS, etc....But good advice anyway, as chaining them is how you keep PEC inline with the game where you may need to change discs.

Following the code on the binder (especially the prefix) is important for that to happen. For the above example, "SLUS-94455" will not work with PEC for finding the same game disc, as this code does not match the header on the physical disc. For "Colony Wars". You'd enter

Code:
#Colony Wars#SLUS-00554#SLUS-00543
because disc one has the ID "SLUS-00543, and disc 2 has the ID "SLUS-00554. The order does not matter so long as you include all discs. For most (if not all) discs, the actual disc ID is printed on the label of each disc.

if its not, there is a hidden file on the disk which matches up.

the hidden file on FF7 PAL is

SCES_008.67
SCES_108.67
SCES_208.67

Heres Valkyrie Profile, Tell me if it works
PEC CMGSCCC Code Database - Valkyrie Profile
Your site is teh fail, naw seriously though, you need to identify the games correctly though,

Final Fantasy 8 NTSC cheats will not work on Final Fantasy 8 PAL, hell even within PAL regions the cheats don't work amongst each other, FF8 France codes won't work on FF8 UK/Australia disks

and whos crazy assed idea was it to put 20mbs of Valkyrie Profile cheats in the codelist.? i figure condense it down to All items codes or remove it entirely >.>

Suikoden II

I created a codelist for Suikoden II, but i haven't double checked the codes. I found that the inventory/rune modifications will freeze my game, but if you do a soft reset then load the game it will be fine. I also didn't include the damage modifiers. Sorry, I'm new to this stuff
