setup error

yeah. i dloaded [pec] from emucheater and i had no programs running when setting up. i chose the destination to install and i made sure the pec plugin was installed in the /plugin folder, when i click next the setup freezes thier no bar no nothing it just freezes on me.
i tried looking for the solution in the forums and thier seemed to be none, if i missed it just give me a link or somethign. thanks in advance

Perhaps that PEC.exe is a corrupted one, which version you're using? try re-download or else find a friend who has a good one.

I have [pec Version : 2002.2 (released on the 8th August 2002)] and It works fine!!

If using any antivirus, it might be the cause, just wait a little bit for it, or make an exeption for it in antivirus setting, or deactivate antivirus then install.
